About the Course
During the 3-day course, participants will learn how to build a scalable web application step by step. Instructors will show students how to manipulate complex data in arrays and structures, explain ColdFusion components and effective handling of errors and exceptions. Topics also include custom tags, creating and consuming web services, leveraging .NET assemblies, creating and manipulating PDF content, and working with highly interactive interfaces using Adobe LiveCycle forms.

This course is ideal for developers who want to expand their ColdFusion capabilities to that of an Advanced ColdFusion Developer. Upon successful completion of the course, participants should be able to deliver scalable and well-performing applications.
Prerequisites
To gain the most from the class, participants should already have completed the Fast Track to ColdFusion 8 course and had three months practical experience thereafter, or have equivalent knowledge. This includes experience building ColdFusion applications with CFML tags, functions, variables, and practical experience with the SQL command set, including SELECT, INSERT, and UPDATE.
