Why Captivate?

Adobe Captivate is the easiest way to create interactive computer-based simulations from anything you can access from your computer. The simulations you create can be interactive - you can add captions, rollovers, clikcable areas, typing areas and sound effects. The finished simulations, or projects are small in size. They can be exported to Flash file format (SWF), executable files or word documents. The small file size and high resolution make Captivate simulations and demos easy to publish online or burn to disc for use in training, sales, marketing or user support. The Flash files are cross-platform and can be viewed via a Web browser.

Along with covering the key features of Captivate, the course focuses on best practices to record Captivate projects.
