Excellent and thorough course for beginners. Couples well with Excel courses.

I really enjoyed the course, it was a good run through of the capabilities of powerbi and has provided me with the ability to start practising before I commit to more advanced courses.

Really good interaction and a mix between basics and more complex issues. Danny moved comfortably between the two without leaving anyone behind.

Even though I have been using PBI to develop reports for over 6 months, this training has been valuable. This a must do course for anyone interested in and or using Power BI.

I though the course was very approachable as someone who has existing knowledge of excel and only a basic understanding of what Power BI is. It was very engaging being able follow along with the instructor as he talked through the different features and functionality. I found him very knowledgeable, flexible and personable. I would definitely look out for any future courses taught by this instructor. I personally found learning over zoom to be fine - I don't think it would have been any more beneficial for me to learn in person with this kind of content.

I really, really enjoyed this course. Sean is an excellent presenter, very measured in pace to prevent overload, but also really moves through the content so you achieve your goals. Of all the courses at VSBA, this was by far the most valuable. I'd love to see Sean back for more advanced PowerBi courses (modelling particularly, but also DAX). Nice work Sean.

The course was excellent! Provided an approachable insight into Power BI and was easy to follow as someone who has zero experience with the program.

It was a great course, Sean was a fantastic instructor and went through everything very nicely and made sure everybody was on the same page for learning. Nobody fell behind and everybody was very well informed. Would be keen for the next level of the course to really drill into the data we have so it can be published / accessible to the executive team.

Our instructor Wayne was very engaging and super accommodating to everyone in the training. Some were having difficulties with access and Wayne provided enough detail and context to watch and learn effectively. The course itself was thorough and allowed us to ask any questions we had throughout. Also handy to be able to download the manuals and documents from the course which can be tested/explored at any time outside the training.

The instructor's personality was that I was encouraged to participate, interact and ask questions whenever I felt I needed. He was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable. This was clear all the way through the training. The training sheets reinforced the concepts imparted.

The course was very comprehensive. The hands on approach using mock-up paperwork was really good. I much prefer this to going through an exercise book. I think it could be good to explore the different ways to do the same function in sequence. Otherwise, it was really good!

Very well structured course covering more than I had expected. Looking forward to putting these skills into practice and taking another course down the track.

I found it easy to follow and Sean was very personable and happy to go over topics or steps that we have may of missed or didn't quite get first time around
