About the Course
During this 2-day Captivate 2017 Essentials course, participants will learn the skills needed to create interactive eLearning content. With step-by-step learning, you will be able to create elearning lessons from scratch. When you finish the course, you'll know how to control the mouse pointer and add such standard objects as text captions, images, and highlight boxes. You'll be able to record, import and edit audio, and further enhance the learner experience by adding interactivity via click boxes, buttons, text entry boxes and import PowerPoint into Captivate.
Who should do this course?
This course is designed for Adobe Captivate 2017 users who want to create interactive, engaging training simulations and scenario-based training with tutorials and quizzes, or capture and communicate knowledge visually.
Prerequisites
There are no pre-requisites for attending this course; however participants are expected to have a general understanding of personal computers and the Windows operating system.

I am completely new to eLearning and have zero experience with any eLearning software. I was needing an overall intro to eLearning and to learn the basics of Adobe Captivate for upskilling. The instructor John was extremely knowledgeable and covered the material very thoroughly. There was a lot of valuable hands-on engagement in this course. Antony was a great instructor, very thorough, to the point and aligned the course to our level of competency to keep us engaged and not waffling on too much. I usually struggle to stay interested in a course, however I was interested, engaged and believe that I have learnt a lot of useful information that I will be able to transfer into my current role.
This course gave me a good understanding of the program, and demystified what appeared to be a complex program. I now feel I understand what's going on and how to work with the different tools. I can't wait to start some of my own projects.
