About the Course

Delivered over one day, this PowerPoint 2013 beginner course takes participants through a series of practical exercises which develop the basic skills and understanding of presentation creation. Topics include slideshow navigation, making basic presentations with text, applying themes and developing graphical elements using drawing tools and SmartArt. Participants will also learn how to enliven presentations with transitions and hyperlinks, as well as print preparation. During this course, learners use real-world topics to develop their skills and knowledge to create PowerPoint presentations.

The PowerPoint Beginner 2013 course targets people who need to create presentations from scratch. You will learn to create and design colourful, informative presentations which are print and presenter-ready.


Participant requires an understanding of personal computers and the Windows operating system, and need to have the general mouse and keyboard skills. No prior knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint is necessary.
