About the Course
Our one-day Xero Payroll training course teaches you to run payroll in Xero with confidence: setting up employees, processing pay runs, managing leave and superannuation, and meeting your Single Touch Payroll (STP) obligations to the ATO. It is hands-on and taught by Xero Certified Advisors, using real-world Australian payroll scenarios, in-class in Sydney and Melbourne or Online Live nationwide.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- ▪ Setup XERO for payroll
- ▪ Add employee payroll details in XERO
- ▪ Conduct a pay run
- ▪ Meet payroll obligations with single touch payroll (STP)
- ▪ Create and track employee entitlements
- ▪ Pay employees electronically
- ▪ Display payroll information and generate reports
- ▪ Finalise the end of a pay year.
Prerequisites
Participants should have a practical understanding of Xero accounting software in the workplace, or have successfully completed the Xero Accounting course. In addition, participants must come ready with a username and password to access their own Xero account or Xero trial account.
