Microsoft Excel Training Courses

Our one-day Excel courses (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Excel for Data Analysis) are $385 incl GST each. The two-day Excel VBA course is $990 incl GST. You can also book any two one-day courses and receive a third one-day Microsoft Office course free as part of our Microsoft Training Package, which is $770 incl GST and saves you $385. Every course includes a printed manual, a certificate of completion, free email support for 12 months and free class re-sits for 8 months.

We deliver classroom Excel training in Sydney (North Sydney) and Melbourne (Collins Street), and live online Excel training everywhere else in Australia, including Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra. Our Online Live classes are taught in real time by a Microsoft Certified Trainer, so wherever you are in Australia, you get the same hands-on, instructor-led experience as our classroom students.

If you have little or no experience, start with the Excel Beginner course. If you are comfortable with formulas and formatting but want functions, charts and data tools, choose Intermediate. If you already work confidently in Excel and want lookups, PivotTables and automation, choose Advanced. For Power Query, Power Pivot, and reporting, choose Excel for Data Analysis; for macros and VBA automation, choose Excel VBA. Yes. The Excel Beginner course assumes no prior experience and starts with the fundamentals, including navigating spreadsheets, formatting cells, rows and columns, building basic formulas and functions, and working faster with shortcuts. Most students are confident using Excel for everyday tasks straight after the course.

Beginner covers the foundations: formatting, basic formulas and functions, and shortcuts. Intermediate builds on that with multiple workbooks, logical and date functions, filtering, conditional formatting and charts. Advanced moves into complex formulas, lookup functions such as VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP, PivotTables and PivotCharts, data consolidation and an introduction to macros. Each level assumes the skills taught in the level before it.

Both formats deliver the same high-quality content and instructor-led experience. Our classroom Excel training provides a dedicated learning environment in Sydney and Melbourne, while online live Excel training offers the flexibility to learn from your home or office across Australia.

Each one-day course runs for a single day and carries 6 CPD hours. The Excel VBA course runs over two days and carries 12 CPD hours. Many students build their skills over time by progressing from Beginner to Advanced across three one-day courses.

Yes. We provide highly interactive Online Live Excel courses delivered in real time by our Microsoft Certified Trainers. You get the same hands-on experience and direct instructor support as in our classrooms, from anywhere in Australia.

Yes. Both formats use the same content, the same Microsoft Certified Trainers and the same small class sizes of up to 10 students. Classroom training gives you a dedicated learning space in Sydney or Melbourne, while Online Live gives you the flexibility to learn from home or the office anywhere in Australia, with full opportunity to ask questions and share your screen for help.

You receive a Certificate of Completion from Dynamic Web Training, which many students use as evidence of their CPD hours (6 for a one-day course, 12 for Excel VBA). Please note this is a certificate of completion rather than a nationally accredited qualification or a Microsoft certification. Yes. We deliver in-house corporate Excel training for groups Australia-wide, either at your workplace, in our Sydney or Melbourne classrooms, or Online Live. For the best Online Live experience, you will need a Windows PC or laptop (a second screen or monitor is recommended), a broadband internet connection, the Microsoft Teams app, a headset or earbuds with a microphone, and Microsoft Office installed. Two business days before your course, we email you the Teams joining link, along with the training files and course book.
