Student Reviews
Not having an understanding of what power Bi was the first session explaining it really helped the rest of the day fall into place.
Well structured for a beginner to understand the logic and be able to create a dashboard. Plenty of time was allowed for Q&A during the day.
Even though the class wasn't small the content wasn't rushed. I do not have experience in Excel and found the course easy to understand.
I like the practical tips and tricks that I have not seen before. For example the mobile layout vs desktop layout
Outstanding facilitation and transfer of subject matter expertise. This is the most engaging online training I have attended. It was a quick clip which means participants had to remain engaged to keep up. It was the perfect tempo for this form of training.
Paul was fantastic. I learnt so much today and feel comfortable and confident in starting my journey in Power Bi.
The course was insightful and helped improve my knowledge on the different terminologies and icons used in PowerBi.
Paul delivered the material in an engaging and enjoyable way. While a full day of training could easily have felt overwhelming, his approach kept the energy levels high throughout. I finished the session feeling motivated, energised, and eager to put what I had learned into practice.
The instructor was very informative and patient learnt a lot about power bi today. would recommend to anyone introducing to data analysis
it is a very good introductory course that explains the basics and actually get you working on a lot of things. The tutor is a very nice, patient and good to explain tutor, the only thing might be improved a bit is the pacing, would be nice if can slowly down at times, but my PC freeze from time to time also contributed to it so it is not a big deal. Good use of technology and explnation. Nice interaction with on the fly quiz and questions for students. Would recommendate, Powerbi indeed has a lot to take in
this has been an amazing opportunity to learn basics for PowerBi and consolidate some knowledge (and new shortcuts) for excel by default. I thoroughly enjoyed the session and look forward to completing more advanced sessions in the near future
Instructor was fantastic. I believe this should not be held on a Friday though as I will now need to wait until Monday until I use this! Hope my memory serves me well 🙂
The course was hands on and easy to follow. Paul was very knowledgeable and engaging and made sure everyone was keeping up, stopping to assist and answer questions as necessary. Very enjoyable, looking forward to the intermediate course and will recommend to my workmates :)
I wanted an introduction to Power BI and the use of power queries, this was achieved and I have the basic knowledge behind this tool.
Demonstrations were very useful especially trying to incorporate our work environment into the scenarios. Very knowledgeable and helpful with questions.
